Community Mobilization
AIM:- Main aim of the component is to make community aware about all the initiatives/schemes of Govt. of India and State Govt. and Samagra Shiksha by ensuring the maximum involvement of all stakeholders of Education Department i.e. community, parents, students, school administration and Education officers in each initiative.
Under Media and Community Mobilization , PAB, MoE, GoI has approved the budget @Rs 1500/- per school for FY 2022-23, to conduct various activities at school level. In PAB minutes budget was approved with the remarks that the State has to undertake community mobilization activities for getting key performance indicators as per the programmatic norms.
During the FY 2022-23, following activities were organized in alignment with the activities instructed as per Guidelines of GoI and Annual Plan submitted to MoE during PAB 2022-23.
Progress of Component ‘Media & Community Mobilisation’ :
1.
Name of Programme :- 150th celebration of ‘ Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’
Coverage :- Students of 14469 schools
Stakeholder:- Students, teachers , community
Outcome:- Students, Parents, teachers and School administration got an opportunity to understand the campaign initiated by Govt. of India and Launched by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi. Each stakeholder of Education Department contributed their 100% in making this campaign a mass movement.
As per the guidelines received from Ministry of Education, GoI, various competitions and Programmes were organized
- Essay writing competition, conference, Declamation, Debate, talk and webinar were organized in all Govt. schools of the State.
- Har Ghar Trianga progamme was celebrated in all Govt. and Pvt. schools.
- Post Card writing competition was organized in all Govt. schools.
- Veer Baal Diwas was celebrated in all Govt. schools.
- School level writing activity on India’s struggle for freedom- Essay, story and poem competitions were organized in all the schools of Haryana.

Name of the activity :- Meet with Olympians
As per the guidelines received by Ministry of Education , Meet with Olympians programme was organized at GSSS, Sector 7, Panchkula where Sh. Sumit Antil, Para Javeline (Athletics), Olympic winner interacted with the selected 150 students of Panchkula, Ambala , Kurukshetra and Yamunanagar emphasizing on significance of balanced diet.
Coverage :- Selected students of 4 Districts ( approximate 150 students, teachers, Education officers as per the guidelines of Govt. of India)
Stakeholder:- School administration, Parents, Community members, SMCs members, other
Outcome:- Students made aware about balanced Diet, Samagra Shiksha and other State programme

Name of Activity: -Celebration of Republic Day at School Level
Execution Plan: - School head invited community, parents, SMCs, eminent Persons of that area in the school. Most educated Girl of the school/area was selected for the flag unfurl ceremony at School. During Aam Sabhas conducted in the schools, the school heads made the parents/community aware about all the schemes being run by State/Center Govt, Provisions of scholarships for students, all types of grants received by school during the year and about their utilization. Community feedback received in such sabhas is a strong tool in framing next years policies and future school development programmes.
Funds utilized:- @ Rs 500/- per school was released to all the schools for this Programme.

4.
Name of Activity: - Teacher Salutation Programme
For motivation of Best Performing Teachers, a salutation Programme was organized at district level on the Teacher’s day where best practices were shared by successful teachers and teachers participated enthusiastically and showcased their talent like singing, dancing, poetry and many more. First time all the teachers working under Samagra Shiksha was participated and showcase their talent and success stories.
Fund utilized:- @ Rs 50,000/- per district was released to all the districts for this Programme.
Coverage :- 22 Districts
Stakeholder:- all the teachers working under Samagra Shiksha
Outcome:- Community awareness about Samagra Shiksha programmes and other programme being run by the state.
